Trouble for Manchester United as PSG Signs Chelsea Target

Paris Saint-Germain have completed the signing of an Argentina international Leandro Paredes who is a midfielder on a four-and-a-half-year deal. Transfers these days are fast and amazing because most top teams are getting in players that can help them attain their goals for the season, but why would a top flight team like PSG need a player like Paredes when they have the likes of Veratti Marco, Angel Di Maria, Marquihos and the likes. It is simply. The upcoming ties between PSG and other top teams in top leagues in Europe such as Manchester United are so crucial. In addition, Neymar injured as brought doubt to his play against Manchester United, short term replacement would be needed to help the team out, and that is where Paredes comes in. The Argentine has the reputation of giving his best on the pitch especially when fielded against top teams as this, of course, creates one problem or the other for Manchester United.

The 25-year-old signed a 4 and a half year deal that will hold him at PSG till 2023, this happened after he passed a medical in Qatar. The transfer fee was not disclosed but the press are assuming it is around 47 million euros which is 54 million dollars.

PSG's Qatari President was excited with the new signing and said the player's arrival will keep the team's momentum high both on the pitch and among the supporters ahead of the major events coming up in the next few months. With Marco Veratti injured, the Argentine will definitely be in the starting lineup against Manchester United and could cause an upset for the Red Devils.

Although, every transfer is a risk no matter how reputable the player is as we have seen with so many high profile players that have gone to clubs but could not live up to their names. The Ligue 1 leaders can only remain optimistic that Parades will turn out to be a wonderful signing.
